Château Puech - Haut

THE CASTLE AND ITS VINEYARD

The influence of Château Puech-Haut is not due to chance.

A Château, a vineyard, people and a unique history produce exceptional cuvées every year.

THROUGH HARD WORK AND TALENT, AN EXCEPTIONAL WINE IS NOW PRODUCED IN THE LAND OF THE ARIES.

Nestled between the shores of the Mediterranean and the Cévennes, the estate extends over more than 150 hectares. The castle was built on solid foundations: an ideal climate, passionate men and a land covered with rounded pebbles.
Through wine, the personalities and the ressources of an entire terroir are expressed and shared. Therefore the wines of Château Puech-Haut are all steeped in history and endowed with a singular identity with a strong character.

A UNIQUE STORY

The history of Château Puech-Haut is closely linked to that of its founder, Gérard Bru. A man who, after a successful industrial career, decided to leave everything behind to reconnect with his roots: the land of Languedoc. This region in the south of France was already steeped in history for Gérard. It was on these lands that he was introduced to the vineyard by his grandfather. And it was also here that his father worked as intendant of the École nationale supérieure d'agronomie de Montpellier. It was there, on what was then only a garrigue and a wild olive grove, that he built his dream.
From a plot of raw land, he knew how to bring out what the land had to offer.
